Paul Edwin Young

             Mr. Paul Edwin Young, age 61 of Ararat, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on January 10, 1961, to the late Cecil Jackson Young and Margaret Eaton Young.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Quinn Davis.  Mr. Young had worked for Renfro as a Lead Mechanic for over 30 years.  With his job he was able to travel all over the world.  He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.

          Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Brittany Burchette and Charlie Burchette, III of Ararat; two grandchildren, Lydia Becerra, Adrian Burchette; two brothers, Jay Young of Winston-Salem, NC, Leon Young of Mt. Airy, NC; three sisters, Paulette Hunter, his twin sister, of Mt. Airy, NC, Frankie Easter of Mt.Airy, NC, Gail Cruise of King, NC; special friends, Morgan Nunn, Happy Martin both of Ararat; and several nieces and nephews.
