Pearl Marie Phillips Voigt

Mrs. Pearl Marie Phillips Voigt age 82 of 148 Bank Street, Mount Airy, wife of Jack Voigt passed away on Monday, August 21, 2006 at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. Voigt was born August 30, 1923 daughter of the late Grady Phillips and Maxie Newberry Phillips and attended the Freewill House of Prayer. Surviving are her husband, Jack Voigt of the home; one daughter, Belinda Latham of Chapel Hill; one son, Grady Voigt of Mount Airy; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Willa Mae Kesel of Woodbridge, VA and a step brother, Maynard Phillips of West Virginia. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Vibert Dixon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Freewill House of Prayer c/o Mike King 546 Lovell Pond Lane, Ararat, VA 24053. No formal visitation will be held at the funeral home.
