Peggy Brintle

Mrs. Peggy Simpson Venable Brintle, 77 of Mount Airy passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Yadkin SECU Hospice in Yadkinville, North Carolina.  Mrs. Brintle was born in Surry County on September 16, 1943 to the late Wade Bowman Venable, Sr. and Myrtle Simpson Venable.  Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memoires are her daughters and son-in-law, Lisa Brintle Handy and Harvey, Laura Brintle, and Lyn Brintle Lyman; grandchildren and spouse, Danny Lyons and wife Kim, Justin Handy, Lindsay Boyan and Justin Horne, and Walter Reginald “Reggie” Lyman, IV; great-grandchildren, Brett Lyons, Micah Lyons, and Luke Lyons; brother-in-law, Sam Brintle and wife Kathy.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brintle was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allan Brintle; a brother, Wade Bowman Venable, Jr.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at White Plains Friends Meeting with Rev.
