Peggy Jo Cockerham

Mrs. Peggy Jo Cockerham, 80, of Pilot Mountain, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, October 28, 2020.  She was born in Surry County, April 10, 1940, to the late Robert “Bob” and Ethel Marie Davis Short.  Mrs. Cockerham was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She was a dedicated member of Little Mountain Baptist Church for 33 years.  Mrs. Cockerham retired from Spencer’s after more than 30 years of service.  Left to cherish her memories are her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Terrie and Mike Cook; adored grandchildren and spouses, Shane and Andie Cook, Terrika Santich and Jimmy, and Josh Cook; her cherished great-grandchildren, Logan Santich, Zoe Santich, Ethan Cook, Winston Cook, Malee Cook, and Joe Cook; a long-time dear and special friend, Dana Pardue.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cockerham was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Bobby Ray Cockerham.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2020 at Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
