Peggy Jean Greer

           Mrs. Peggy Jean Greer, age 70 of Ferrum, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Sovah Health of Martinsville.  She was born in West Virginia on May 3, 1949 to the late Kenneth Ray Pinkerton and Lena May Foster Pinkerton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Todd Withrow; and two brothers, Cletus and Denny Pinkerton. 

          Surviving are her husband, Roy Greer of Stuart; three sons, Doug Greer of Galax, Terry Greer of Ferrum, Paul Greer of Dublin; three grandchildren, Joseph Greer, Derrian Greer, Chelsey Withrow; one great-granddaughter, Willow Custer; one sister, Linda Crosier of Matthews, NC; three brothers, Joey Pinkerton of Ferrum, Ronnie Pinkerton, Jerry Pinkerton both of Claypool Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
