Peggy Holt

          Mrs. Peggy Tolbert Holt, age 76 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  She was born in Surry County, NC on October 16, 1942 to the late James Tolbert and Virginia Cassady Tolbert.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Chilton.  Peggy was a member of Mayo Mountain Baptist Church.

          Surviving are her husband, Rodger Holt; children, James Coalson and fiancé, Anita Zehnder, Kimberly Drake, Angela Steele and husband, Randy, Lynn Edwards; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Mayo Mountain Church with Rev. David Heath officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mayo Mountain Church Cemetery on Dobyns Rd.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
