Mrs. Peggy Lee George Isaacs, 68, of 208 Precinct Road, Pilot Mountain, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007. Mrs. Isaacs was born May 11, 1939, in Surry County, to the late Robah Lee and Nellie Mae Inman George. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Westfield Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Allen Isaacs of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Steve Marsh and Judy and Tommy Gosnell, all of Pilot Mountain, and Janet Isaacs of High Point; sixteen grandchildren; a stepgrandson; two sisters and four brothers-in-law, Barbara and Alvin Lawson of Mount Airy, Bonnie and Phillip McCraw of Cana, VA, Bill Lackey of Winston-Salem, and Wesley Stewart of King; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Franklin "Pete" and Helen George and Jack and Elizabeth George, all of Westfield. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Isaacs was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jean Stewart and Iris Lackey. A service to celebrate the life of Peggy will be held Sunday, June 24, 2007, at 4:00 PM at Westfield Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Joel Stephens, the Rev. Todd E. Byrd, and Brother Don Collins, and burial will follow in the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
