Peggy Jo Woodson

Mrs. Peggy Jo Bryant Woodson, 68, of Cana, VA passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  She was born in Surry County August 21, 1950 to the late Samuel Wilburn and Minnie Myrtle Lawrence Bryant.  Mrs. Woodson retired from Applied Polymetrics.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Rhiannon and fiance Jonathon Dixon; sons Chris Ashburn and wife Cindy, and Joel Woodson; grandchildren, Ryver, Rayne, Shaelin, Nathaniel and Ty; great grandchildren, Kenley and Byrnn; and brothers, Randall and Roger Bryant.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodson was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Woodson “Sugar Bear”; sisters, Doris Marion, Gladys Brooks and Nellie Moore; and a brother Alton Bryant.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
