Peggy Ann Smith

Mrs. Peggy Ann Venable Smith, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Central Continuing Care in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Smith was born January 16, 1933, in Carroll County, VA, to the late Winfield and Ida Bell Woodruff Venable.  She retired from the Surry County Health Department after several years of service. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Myleatha and Bob McClyman, along with their children of Fort Walton Beach, FL.  She is also survived by her son, Rick Epperson and his children of Winston-Salem; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in the Mount Airy area.  No formal service will be held.
