Mr. Philiaw “Phil” Parker, 77, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Born October 1, 1947, to the late Dewey Sherman and Virginia Hall Parker. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Phil adored his family and was devoted to his grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his boys. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Judy Wood Parker; sons and fiancée, Darren Parker, and Mike Parker and Jody Sottile; grandchildren, Savannah Parker, Rhys Parker and CC, and Cole Parker; as well as, great grandson, Miller Parker. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Pierson; and brothers, Tim Parker, and Buddy Parker. The family will receive friends Monday, February 10, 2025, at Temple Baptist Church from 12:30 until 2:00 PM. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Parker family.
