Phillip Mark Beamer

Mr. Phillip Mark Beamer, 45, of 185 Cedar Knoll Drive, Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday morning, September 22, 2009, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born January 18, 1964, in Forsyth County, to Robert Ross "Bobby" Beamer and Shelby Phillips Hinson. He was member of Mount Bethel Moravian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Shelby Alexandra Beamer of Cana, VA; two sons, Ezra Beamer and Evan Beamer, both of Cana, VA; a step-son, Chase Utt of Mount Airy; his mother, Shelby Phillips Hinson of Mount Airy; his father and step-mother, Robert Ross "Bobby" and Janice Beamer of Walnut Cove; his fiancee, Bettyann Hill of Mount Airy; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathy Beamer Sykes and Debbie Beamer, both of Mount Airy, and Nancy and Charles Thompson of Rocky Mount, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Debora Beamer of Lake Worth, FL; two step-sisters, Crystal Wood of Walnut Cove and Terri Hinson of Kernersville; three step brothers, Keith Hinson of Mount Airy, Monte Hinson of Kernersville, and Bobby Hinson of Greensboro; six nephews; six nieces; and a special great aunt, Ilene Disosoway of Newbern. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 25, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Richard Wynne officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Ford Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
