In loving memory of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Phyllis Ann Craft Pardue, 81, of Mount Airy left this earthly world on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, after a sudden illness. Phyllis was born in Welch, West Virginia on April 16th, 1940, to the late Elmer Lacy Craft and Ada May Blankenship Craft. 2 Corinthians 5:8 says, 'To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord'. Imagine her delight to be greeted at Heaven's gate by her beloved son, Joey. Something she longed for over 20 years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Phyllis was a loving mother to 5 wonderful children, a daughter, Teresa Dillon, and three sons and one daughter-in-law, Donald C. Ellis Jr., Ricky & Libby Ellis, and Robert McNeil Pardue. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Donny Ellis, Shane Blaylock, Randall Blaylock, Amber Ellis, Dakota Ellis Goss, Ricky Ellis Jr., Kody Pardue, Lexi Pardue, Dylan Pardue, Tyler Pardue, and Arielle Pardue, and 4 great-grandchildren, Mallie Hiatt, Joey Blaylock, Everitt Goss & Elliott Goss. Her brothers and sisters-in-laws are Bill & Gloria Craft, Elmer & Phyllis Craft Jr., Tommy & Brenda Craft, Tim & Cheryl Craft, and Teresa Craft. Phyllis also had several nieces & nephews. She will be loved & missed by many. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was proceeded in death by her husband, Charles McNeil “Mack” Pardue, a son, Joey Pardue, a great-grandson, Emmitt Goss, her stepmother, Girlandean Craft, a sister Louise Craft, 2 brothers, Robert Craft and Freddie Ray Craft, and 2 nephews Johnny Craft and Freddie Wayne Craft. She has a lot of loved ones to rejoice with. Phyllis retired from Tri-State Carports. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29th, 2021, at Maple Springs Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Shirley Combs officiating. There will not be any formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody funeral home in Mount Airy is serving the Pardue family. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneral services.com.
