Phyllis Lynn Joines

Mrs. Phyllis Lynn Cain Joines, 65, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Joines was born January 10, 1955, in Surry County, to the late Raymond Lawrence and Ila Annie Nunn Cain.  Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dennis Clyde Joines; a daughter, Tosha Joines Arthur; three grandchildren, Chelsea Arthur, Haley Arthur, and Megan Arthur; three great-grandchildren, Paislee Childress, Malachi Childress, and Elliana Woodbury; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Linda and Jerry Goad, Judy Bingman and Terry Brickell, and Helen Felts; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Nancy Cain; and a special pet, Peanut.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Joines was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Lawrence Cain.  A private graveside service will be held Monday, October 19, 2020, at 2:00 PM at The Peoples Church Cemetery, with Pastor Brian Frazier officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
