Polly Lee Worrell

Mrs. Polly Lee Ashburn Worrell, 68, of Jonesville passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at her mother’s home.  She was born in Surry County on October 9, 1950 to Lillian Haynes Ashburn and the late Marvin Ashburn.  In addition to her mother Mrs. Worrell is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton Worrell, Jr. and Karen, Sean Worrell and Tonya; a sister and brother-in-law, Gracie and Ronnie Martin; grandchildren, Faith Worrell, Makayla Worrell, and Aiden Adams; a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Jan Ashburn.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Worrell was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Dennis Worrell, Sr.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery with the Rev. Aubrey Casstevens officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
