Mr. Porter Gray Phillips Age 63 of Greer, SC. husband of Mrs. Barbara Pitman Phillips passed away July 27, 2008 in Greer, SC. Mr. Phillips was born September 30, 1944 in Mt. Airy to the late Porter Gray Phillips, Sr. and Margie Sutphin Phillips and was retired from Lucent Technologies. Surviving is his wife Barbara Pitman Phillips of the home, two sons Brian Lee Phillips of Greer. SC and Todd Brandon Phillips of Malaysia, Kuala, Lumpur and a brother-in-law Earl Leroy Pitman. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Chaplain Herb Joyce.
