Posey Hill

After a long illness, Posey’s soul left this earth on Friday, March 12, 2021.  Posey Lester Hill was born in Stuart, VA on September 26, 1956 to the late Kirby Lester Hill and Edith Clara Hooker Hill.  He was a friend to many, living humbly and living life on his own terms.  Left to cherish his memory are his brother, John Akers Hill and wife Bonnie; sister, Patricia Hill Hicks; nieces, Shanda Hill Morris and husband Justin, Brandie Hicks, and Kimberly Hicks Baity; nephew, Jonathan Hill; and his uncle, Clyde Terrell Hill and wife Edna.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by grandparents, Posey Lester hill and Ruth Elizabeth Dollarhite Hill, and John Dillard Hooker and Mary Lou Collins Hooker; and a brother-in-law, Larry Wayne Hicks.  A celebration of Life will be held for Posey later.    Thank you, Shanda Morris, for all you did for Posey during his illness.  Memorial donations may be made to Claudville Fire Department (CCDF) 1409 Dry Pond Hwy., Claudville, VA 24171 in memory of Posey.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Hill family.  To send flowers to Posey's family, please visit our floral store.
