Rachel Biggs

           Mrs. Rachel Pack Biggs, age 71 of Critz, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Patrick County on December 13, 1947 to the late Buster and Eunice Thompson Pack.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland W. Biggs.  Mrs. Biggs had worked at Fieldcrest Mills for many years.  Adored and loved by many she was known as Granny Rachel.

         Surviving are a daughter, Joy Biggs; three sons, Wayne, Lane, and Timmy Biggs all of Critz; three grandchildren, Shane Clifton and wife, Stacey, Stacy Biggs, Shawn Cassady, one sister, Sue Pack Whitlock of Stuart; two brothers and sister-in-law, Bruce and Faye Pack of Stuart; Carl Lee Pack of Rocky Mount; a very special niece, Dawn Haden; several nieces and nephews; and her special fur babies, Duke and Piggy.

         Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with her beloved grandson, Shane Clifton, officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Spoon Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at her home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
