Rachel Frances Gammons

Mrs. Rachel Frances Gammons age 71 of 3160 Dry Pond Hwy., Claudville, VA, widow of Arthur Anderson Gammons, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Gammons was born in Patrick County on March 30, 1935, daughter of the late Hobert East and Lou Jean Beasley East. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Melissa Gammons of the home and Billy and Wendy Gammons of Stuart; three grandchildren, Kathleen Gammons, Christopher Gammons and Nicole Lynn Gammons and two brothers, Ricky Dwight East, Sr. of Stuart and Major East of Morehead City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in State Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time for the service.
