Raleigh McMillian

Mr. Raleigh McMillan, Jr., 81, of  Mt. Airy, passed away at his home Friday, June 11, 2021.  He was born in Carroll County, VA, to the late Raleigh F. McMillian Sr. and the late Mary Susie Goins McMillan.  Mr. McMillian was retired from Harrell Oil after many years of service.  Left to cherish his memories are his children, Randall McMillian, Barry McMillian and his wife Cheryl, Jeffrey McMillian and his wife Vicky, Eric Linville and his wife Amy, Joseph McMillian and his wife Christina, and daughter, Anna Burford; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Mr. McMillian was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katrina Noel Burford; brothers, Tom McMillian, James Goins and Foster Martin.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, June14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Midkiff Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Arlis Thomas.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 PM until time to leave for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
