Ralph Leon Beck

Mr. Ralph Leon Beck, 74, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born in Surry County on July 22, 1946, to the late Otis and Della Kirkman Beck. Mr. Beck retired from LS Starrett, and a member of Mount Airy Wesleyan Church. Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Marsh Beck; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Stephanie Beck, Jason and Keenia Beck; grandchildren, Colby Young, Spencer Beck, Isabella Beck, Arianna Beck, Ashley Todd, and Clayton Todd; great grandchild, Asher Leon Harrison Beck; a brother, Paul Beck; a sister-in-law, Edith Beck; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beck was preceded in death by sisters and brothers-in-law, Ella Mae Pruitt, Belva and Frank Semones, Brenda and Oliver Fischer, Suzetta Beck, and Irene Easter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Oscar and Belle Beck, Roscoe Beck, Claude Beck, Archie Beck, Otis Beck, Mabel Beck. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Mount Airy Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Eric Smith and the Rev. Richard Loman officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 at the church. Due to covid concerns the family request everyone wear a mask.
