Randall Joe Smith

Mr. Randall Joe Smith Age 47 of 110 Hicks Drive Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday February 5, 2008 at his home. Mr. Smith was born April 2, 1960 in Surry County to Hersel Granville and Eva Jean Moxley Smith and was last employed by Lowe's Hardware in Mooresville. Surviving are his parents Hersel Granville and Eva Jean Moxley Smith of the home, several aunts and uncles and a of host cousins. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Garnie and Levora Moxley and by his paternal grandparents Joe S. and Nannie Smith. A visitation will be held Thursday night 7 to9 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Busick-Booker-Smith Family Cemetery, c/o of Margaret Smith, 1351 Pipers Gap Rd. Mt. Airy, N.C. 27030 or to the Fisher Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, c/o L.D. Galyean, 115 Windy Ridge Lane Galax, VA. 24333.
