Randy Gwyn, Sr.

Mr. Randy Lee Gwyn, Sr., 59, of Mount Airy, passed away early Thursday morning, May 27, 2021, at his home.  Mr. Gwyn was born October 6, 1961, in Forsyth County, the son of the late Oscar Buford “Bill” and Eva Jean Galyean Gwyn.  Randy was a self-employed handyman for many years.  He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Nena Margaret Spencer Gwyn of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy Lee Gwyn, Jr. and his fiancée, Ashley Ann Mann, and Fred and Annette Gwyn, all of Mount Airy; a daughter, Laci Gwyn of the home; eight grandchildren, Colorado Gwyn, Jake Gwyn, Cheyenne Gwyn, R.J. Gwyn, Michael Gwyn, Dixie Gwyn, April Gwyn, and Annabella Wilmoth, all of Mount Airy; a sister, Nancy Ann Gwyn of Mount Airy; and a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Kathy Gwyn of Mount Airy.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Gwyn was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Gwyn.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev.
