Mr. Randy Darrell Inman, 67, of Georgetown, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Mr. Inman was born January 27, 1954, in Surry County, the son of Mary Lee Jackson Stewart and the late Roger Hurdle Inman. Randy had lived in Georgetown, GA, since 2008. He contributed to his community in many ways. He loved to coach Little League baseball and was known by most as “Pops.” Randy had an amazing sense of humor and a laugh that could light up a room. He was highly involved in getting Inman Street Customs up and running with his son, Shane, and grandsons, Devan and Jordan. All who knew him enjoyed his company and loved him. He is going to be truly missed. We know he is in a happy and peaceful place and smiling down at us all. Randy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Randy Shane and Beverly Inman of Georgetown, GA; two grandsons, Jordan Inman and Devan Inman, both of Georgetown, GA; his mother, Mary Lee Jackson Stewart of Mount Airy; his sisters, Michelle Smith of Lake Alford, FL, Robin Collins of Mount Airy, and Tammy Bishop of Thomasville; and his brother, Donnie Inman of Charlotte. In addition to his father, Mr. Inman was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Gilmore. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Indian Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Faw officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.donate3.cancer.org.
