Randy Colvard McMillan

Mr. Randy Colvard McMillan, 68, of Asheville, passed away Monday morning, October 2, 2023, at Carolina Pines in Asheville.  Mr. McMillan was born June 23, 1955, in Forsyth County, the oldest of two sons born to the late Lawrence Colvard “Cobb” and Lommie Jane Tate McMillan.  Randy was reared in Hickory and attended St. Stephens High School.  He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Vickie McMillan; two nephews and their wives, Alex and Kendall McMillan and Cameron and Angela McMillan; and two cousins, Linda Gordon and Gary Pearson.  A graveside service will be held Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Grant Atkins officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
