Ray Rufus Coe

Mr. Ray Rufus Coe, 86, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Born April 18, 1938, to the late Grady Admiral and Lela Frances Coe. Ray was a member at Stony Knoll United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was the best father anyone could ask for. He loved racing and was an avid NASCAR fan. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 68 years, Jewel Creed Coe; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Coe and Dawn; grandchildren, Cory Coe and Alyssa, and Landon Coe and Jessica; and great grandchildren, Aria Coe, Declan Coe, Xander Coe, Ella Coe, and Case Coe. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy McCormick. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Stony Knoll United Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the church with Rev. Dr. Rebekah Ralph officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Coe family.
