Ray Paige Reynolds, Sr

Mr. Ray Paige Reynolds, Sr., 74, of Athens, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Reynolds was born January 8, 1934, in Surry County, to the late Charlie Lee and Martha Jane Sutphin Reynolds. He was a retired lineman from Pike Electric Inc. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Diane and Jessie Hall of Sophia; a son, Ray Paige Reynolds, Jr. of Martinsville, VA; a granddaughter and her husband, Pamela Renee and Tommy Dill of Sophia; a great-stepgranddaughter, Korbyn Dill of Sophia; a sister, Betty Reynolds McDuffie of Raeford; and two brothers, Howard Reynolds of Dallas, TX, and Russell Reynolds of Sparta. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Reynolds Ellis; and two brothers, Conard Reynolds and Gilmer Reynolds. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Brother Don Collins officiating.
