Raymond Isaac Creed

Mr. Raymond Isaac Creed Age 93 of Lowgap, NC. passed away Saturday morning October 5, 2013 at his home. Mr. Creed was born April 8, 1920 in Surry County to the late George and Pearlie Lowe Creed and was a longtime Sawmiller. Surviving are his wife Stella Lowe Creed of the home, four daughters and sons-in-law Jo Ann and Richard "Red" Hiatt, Georgia and Woodie Goodson, Linda and Stanley Fleming and Joyce and Greg Ramey all of Lowgap, five grandchildren Billie Lawson of Mt. Airy, Grant Cockerham of Lowgap, Brent and Melissa Robertson of Mt. Airy, Brandon Hiatt of Raleigh and Brandi and Barrett Holder of Lowgap, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, three sisters Maurice Brandenburg of Georgia, Annette Eller of Galax and Virginia McKnight of Winston Salem, three brothers Benny Creed, Alfred Creed and Buddy Creed all of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents Mr. Creed was preceded in death by two sisters Geneva Southern and Roxie Warner and by two brothers Robert Creed and Tommy Creed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by Chaplain Justin Nelson with burial to follow in the Fisher Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night 6 to 8 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. NC.
