Mr. Raymond Edgar Molina, 93, of Winston Salem passed away on Sunday January 10, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Los Angeles County, California on July 15, 1916 to the late Raymon and Eleanor Molina. Mr. Molina was retired from Western Electric where he worked as an Electronic Engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a gifted Carpenter, Electrician and Mechanic. In his later years, he used his talents to create toys and clocks. He was a devoted Christian man who dedicated his life to God, his family and friends. He was a faithful member of Parkway Chapel as long as his health permitted. Mr. Molina will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 28 years, Sally Batten Molina of the home; two daughters, Barbara Molina Jarrin of Hendersonville, Carol Sinnamon of Corryton, TN; two step-daughters, Phyllis Blackmon and Susan and husband Thomas Agee all of Winston Salem; four sons Donald Molina of Mount Airy, Danny and wife Wanda Molina of Elkin; Harold Elmore and wife Bonnie and Charles and wife Diane Elmore all of Dobson and daughter-in-law Mary Molina of Springfield, MO; a step son, Steve and wife Brenda Batten of Winston Salem; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Molina was preceded in death by his wife Alma Lois Callahan Molina; a daughter, Vista Sue Elmore; a son Jerry Molina and a sister Lois Teal. His funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday January 13, 2010 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by Minister Charles Elmore with burial will follow in Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday.
