Mr. Raymond Alton Robtison, 80, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 14, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Robtison was born February 11, 1937, in Roanoke County, VA, the son of the late Edward and Evie Jones Robtison. Raymond served our country in the United States Army from 1960 until 1962. He retired from White Swan Garment Industries after many years of service. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Quesinberry Robtison of the home; a daughter, Joy Raeann Hull of Mount Airy; his grandchildren, Brandon Hull and Lorraine Agostini and Mandi and Luke Danley, all of Mount Airy; his great-grandchildren, Jaxson Danley, Bryton Hull, and JonLucas Danley, all of Mount Airy; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary McAlister and Roberta and Jim Shockley, all of Roanoke, VA, and Delmer and Carl Graham of Salem, VA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Robtison was preceded in death by five brothers, Lawrence Robtison, Ed Robtison, Russell Robtison, Ernest Robtison, and Dan Robtison. No formal visitation or memorial service will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is in charge of the cremation and serving the family.
