Rayvone Scott Cassady

Mr. Rayvone Scott Cassady, age 44, of Stuart passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He was born in Martinsville on May 9, 1971. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, S. Curtis Rorrer; and his paternal grandparents, Bronzy and Wilma Inman Cassady. Scott was a 1989 graduate of Patrick County High School. He was an avid sports fan and a member of Patrick Springs Christian Church for more than 20 years.
Surviving are his parents, Rayvone and Sharon Rorrer Cassady of Stuart; and his maternal grandmother, Mary M. Rorrer of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Patrick Springs Christian Church with Pastors Gray Sands and Josh Lees officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 at the church on Saturday.
