Rebecca Lynne Ayers

Ms. Rebecca Lynne Hall Ayers, age 67 of Ararat, Virginia, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart, Virginia. She was born on February 12, 1954 in Burlington, North Carolina, to the late Grant Hall and Clara Hall of Ararat Virginia, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Haymore. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Todd and Tina Ayers of Lowgap; North Carolina; three sisters, Kay Hall of Mount Airy, North Carolina; Shelia Martin and husband Keith of Fancy Gap, Virginia; and Lori McAlexander and husband Jeff, of Patrick Springs, Virginia. She is also survived by two nieces; three nephews; one great-niece; and five great-nephews. Due to COVID concerns, there is no formal service planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the Ararat Volunteer Rescue Squad, 4690 Ararat Highway, Ararat, Virginia 24053.
