Rebecca "Becky" Ann Hill

Mrs. Rebecca (Becky) Ann Prestwood Hill, age 71, of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home.  She was born January 12, 1947 to the late Ralph Sidney Prestwood and Ruth Richards Prestwood.  Mrs. Hill retired from Surry County Schools as the librarian for Dobson Elementary School.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband Robert (RC) Hill of the home; daughter Amy Hill; daughter and son-in-law, April Bolick and husband David; grandchildren Olivia and Maggie Bolick; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Delbert Cline; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph Prestwood Jr. and wife Jane.  A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Oakdale Cemetery with Elder Ed Whitehead, Elder Tom Parrish and Evangelist Robert Geisbers officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  There will be a gathering of family and friends at North Main Church of Christ immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either the North Main Church of Christ, 2011 North Main Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030 or Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.   Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
