Rebecca Gwyn

Mrs. Rebecca Jane Gwyn Gwyn, 57, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Forsyth County on February 25, 1964, to James and Dorothy Hamby Gwyn.  Mrs. Gwyn was a loving homemaker, and a full-time grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. She was a faithful member of Slate Mountain Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gwyn is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Shena Spurlin-Wills and Joshua; grandchildren, Chloe Spurlin, Lily Wills, Emily Wills, Joshua Wills, Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Smith and Donnie, Rita Nichols and Greg, Janice Harris and Luis, Marilyn McMillian and Rev. Chris, Sandra Bowman and Danny, and Lynn Millard; many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Gwyn was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Gwyn; a sister, Cathy Wilmoth.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev.
