Rebecca Madeline Roberts

Mrs. Rebecca Madeline Freedle Walker Roberts, age 84, of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at Central Continuing Care.  Mrs. Roberts was born in Davidson County on May 30, 1934, to Walter Lee and Violet Mae Sink Freedle.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Surviving are daughters and a son-in-law, Chris and Charles Wilbun, and Martha Walker; grandchildren, Roschelle Reigh, Aaron Reigh, Randall Reigh, and Austin Reigh; five great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Bradshaw, and Mary Mortz; and a brother, Dennis Freedle.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Walker and her second husband, Gordon Roberts; and a son Steven Walker.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 18, 2019, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.  There will not be a formal visitation.
