Rena Ann Smith

Mrs. Rena Ann Taylor Smith, 72, of Ararat, VA passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA.  She was born in Delaware County, NY on November 26, 1950, to George and Verna Robbins Taylor.  Mrs. Smith was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Tate; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Toni Smith; grandchildren, Jessica and Timothy MacLeod, Haylee Smith, Jillian Peeples, Carmen Mitchell, Evan Mitchell; great grandchildren, Jennalee, Timothy, Maverick, and Alexander MacLeod; sisters, Linda Ferris, Kathy Stanton, Delores Rutledge, Rosemary Teja, Helen Jack; a brother, Gerald Taylor; many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, George Taylor, and James Taylor.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
