Renee Ann Grant

Ms. Renee Ann Gwyn Grant, 54, of Mount Airy, passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem on Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2020 after a long courageous battle with Behcet’s Disease and Leukemia.  She was born in Prince George County, Maryland, on February 10, 1966, to Bonnie Ratcliff Mannon.  She was loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Eric Wines; her son, James “Jim” Yoder; two grandchildren, Kendalyn Wines and Laurel Wines; her mother, Bonnie Ratcliff Mannon; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sheila Parish and Jennifer and Brian Leftwich; and by a brother, Clinton Eli Gwyn, Jr.  Ms. Grant was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Earnest “Papa” Mannon.  A graveside service for Ms. Grant will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with Pastor David Brady officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until time to leave for the service.
