Rev. Charles William Snow, age 90 of Mt. Airy passed away at Forsyth Medical Center Thursday, April 12, 2012. Mr. Snow was born in Grayson County on September 18, 1921 to the late John and Ada Davis Snow. He was a minister for over 60 years. He was a member of Bottom Road Tabernacle. Mr. Snow is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Melvin Eugene and Gloria Jean McBride Snow of Ararat, VA; grandchildren and spouses, Marty Eugene and Rebecca Snow of Mt. Airy, Randy Shawn and Grace Snow of Greensboro, Mitzi Jean and Jamie Goad of Mt. Airy; great grandchildren, Randy Shawn Snow, II of Columbus, OH, Eva Grace Snow of Greensboro, Holly Drew Snow of Greensboro, Adrianna Jeanine "AJ" Culler, Miriam Elizabeth Culler both of Mt. Airy, two daughters, Ellen Sue King of Mt. Airy and Wilma Wingfield of Martinsville, VA; grandchildren, Gary Cecil and Gina King of Mt. Airy, Scotty Wingfield of Martinsville, Matthew Wingfield of Martinsville, Christy Wingfield of Martinsville, Dawn Renee and Shawn Emerson of Princeton, WVA, Pam and Claude Puckett of Lowgap; great grandchildren Samantha Lambeth, Flotman, AL, Stephen Spencer, Tiffany Spencer, Heather Wingfield, Scott Wingfield, Hunter Wingfield all of Martinsville, Lilly King of Mt. Airy, Danielle Emerson, Austin Emerson both of WVA, Heather Puckett and Kasey Puckett both of Lowgap. In addition to his parents, Mr. Snow was preceded in death by his wife, Larthine Senter Snow and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Bottom Road Tabernacle with Rev. Shirley Combs and Rev. Dud Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at the Stantliff Cemetery in Lambsburg. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and at other times 1427 Edgewood Dr. Mt.
