Rev. Jerome Riley "Romey" Flippin age 73 667 Flippin Road, Lowgap, NC husband of Mrs. Judy Dickson Flippin passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his home He was born June 9, 1940 in Surry County to the late Carlis and Annie Elizabeth Flinchum Flippin. He was a retired Baptist Minister. Surviving are his wife, Judy D. Flippin of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Don Hayes of Marshall, AK a son and daughter in-law, Gray and Paige Flippin of Dobson, four grandchildren and spouses, Heather and Travis Underwood of, Siloam, Hilary and Mark Sears of Dobson, Grayson Flippin and Anna Beth Flippin both of Dobson, four great grandchildren, Micah, Simeon, Abigail Underwood of Siloam and Khloe Sears all of Dobson, two sisters and a brother-in-Law, Doris Scott of Lowgap, Rozena and George Huizinga of Vero Beach, FL, a brother, Eugene Flippin of Lowgap, The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday night at Moody Funeral Home Chapel .
