Rev. Reuben Ralph Hiatt

Rev. Reuben Ralph Hiatt, 86, of Cleveland, TN, formally of Mt. Airy went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 8, 2021. He was born in Surry County, March 16, 1935, to the late George Ralph and Ida Boyd Hiatt. Rev. Hiatt was a dedicated Christian and served as minister in various churches throughout his ministry. He will be lovingly remembered by a special sister Betty Ann Moorefield; special nieces, Sharon Hiatt, and Amy Teague: great niece and her husband, Paula Smith and C.J.; his sister-in-law, Letty Hiatt; special friend, Sally Smith and her granddaughter, Jada Dean; several nieces and nephews; and his special dog, Princess. In addition to his parents, Rev. Hiatt was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Duncan Hiatt; sisters, Louise Bowman, and Marie Hiatt; and brothers, Paul, James, and Deanie Hiatt. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 13, 2021, at Simmons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Bingman officiating.
