Rev. Ronald William Menges, Sr

Rev. Ronald William Menges, Sr. age 75 of Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Tuesday November 10, 2015 at the WG Hefner, VA. Hospital Community Living Center in Salisbury, NC. Mr. Menges was born September 11, 1940 in Hinsdale, IL. to the late Henry A. and Dorothy L. Cole Menges, and was a retired Minster from the Northern Gospel Mission in Minnesota. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law Cindy L. Prior and husband Donald of Blaine, MN. and Alice L. Ayers and husband Mike of Mt. Airy, one son and daughter-in-law Ronald W. Menges, Jr. and wife Presilla of Louth, England, Grandchildren Joseph James Prior and Michael Lee Prior both of Blaine, MN and Katie Marie Menges of Louth, England two sisters Karen Menges and Margaret Struze both Aurora, NY. One sister-in-law Mae Creasy Mt. Airy and one brother-in-law James H. and Hulda Creasy of King. In addition to his parents Mr. Menges was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou Creasy Menges and one sister Judy Menges. Funeral services will be held Friday November 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Christ Community Church with services conducted by Gary Watson and Elmer Braley with burial to follow in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night 7 to 9 P.M. at the Mood Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
