Rhona A. Hairston

              Mrs. Rhona Akridge Hairston, age 70 of Stuart, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Henry County on March 23, 1952, to the late Cephus H. Via and Lucy Barbour Via.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Yolanda Akridge.

         Surviving is her loving husband, Curtis Hairston of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Akessa Smith and Master Gunnery SGT. Robert L. Smith, III; one grandson, Robert Lee Smith, IV; and a host of special friends.

         A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Iron Belt Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Melton Roberson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
