Rhonda Fay Hiatt Bradley

On Sunday morning, December 19, 2021, our Heavenly Father opened the portals of glory and welcomed His good and faithful servant into heaven. Mrs. Rhonda Fay Hiatt Bradley passed away peacefully at Northern Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 65 years old. She was born February 24, 1956, in Guilford County to the late Paul Nephi Hiatt, Sr. and Lillian Fay Atkins Hiatt. Rhonda was a lover of people and truly cherished every minute of life. Rhonda was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she faithfully served in many leadership roles, especially with the youth. She had a strong testimony of her savior Jesus Christ and a love for her church family. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister and friend. With a heart of gold, Rhonda touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a lover of tennis, known to spend hours on the courts each week. She loved to go, from the mountains to the sea, Rhonda found happiness wherever she went. Loving her family was her most valued treasure, her greatest honor was being a wife, mother and Nana. Rhonda was the best kind of person, selfless, generous and full of life. She made this world a better place and will be sorely missed. Rhonda leaves behind the love of her life, Bobby Bradley, to whom she would have been married for 47 years in March. She is also survived by her five children, John Bradley (Emily), Lisa Phillips (Kemp), Kristin Branch (Johnny), Taylor Bradley (Sarah) and Loren Belk (Brandon), seventeen grandchildren, Kemp Phillips, Colin Branch, Grace Phillips, Jackson Bradley, Ella Grace Bradley, Kayleah Branch, Bitty Phillips, Smith Bradley, Riley Bradley, Lexi Branch, Kate Belk, Sawyer Bradley, Drew Bradley, William Belk, Merritt Bradley, Henry Belk and Wales Belk; bonus blessings, Victoria Griffin and Olivia Robertson; sisters, Cindy Poole and Engle Iorio (John); brothers, Paul Hiatt, Jr., Vincent Hiatt (Gina) and Charlie Hiatt (Julie); and many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Oakdale Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 27, 2021, at 11:00 in the morning at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mount Airy with President Greg Scott presiding and Bishop John Bradley officiating. A celebration of Rhonda’s life will follow the service at the creek, 341 Pine Creek Trail, Mount Airy, North Carolina.
