Richard "Ricky" Ware Williamson, Jr

Mr. Richard "Ricky" Ware Williamson, Jr., 49, of 189 Charlie Norman Road, Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Mr. Williamson was born November 27, 1958, in Surry County, to Joyce Parker Mills and the late Richard Ware Williamson, Sr. He was an electrician and a member of the Baptist faith Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon Dale and Jamie Shelton of Charlotte; his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Bobby Mills of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Tony Robertson of Lambsburg, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby "B.J." and Alexandria Mills of Pilot Mountain; a very special friend and companion, Deborah Holder of Mount Airy; two nieces, Crystal Pack and Christina Pack, both of Lambsburg, VA; two nephews, Nathan Mills and Nevin Mills, both of Pilot Mountain; and special cousins, Kenny Inscore and Teddy and Barbara Slate, all of Mount Airy. A graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Mike Shelton. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time for Mr. Williamson to be carried to the cemetery for the service.
