Richard Randolph Zagurski

Mr. Richard Randolph Zagurski, age 79 of Cana, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  Mr. Zagurski was born on January 15, 1943, in Hartford County, to the late Henry and Nettie White Zagurski.  Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 55 years, Brenda Blackburn Zagurski; one daughter, Cassandra Zagurski; one son, Richard J. Zagurski; seven grandchildren, Jacob Dean, Katrina Dean, Krystal Dean, Whitley Walls, Michael Walls, Jaxon Zagurski, Gracie O’Nan; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Dean, Braden Turner, Riley Turner; one step-brother and sister-in-law, William “Bill” Zagurski and Kitaya; one niece, Salina Zagurski; and one nephew, Josh Zagurski.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Zagurski was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Zagurski.  No formal services will be held at this time.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
