Rickey Lee Sebastian, Jr

Rickey Lee Sebastian, Jr. age 24 of Ararat, VA, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at his home. Rickey was born in Forsyth County on February 23, 1988 to Sandra Sawyers Sebastian and Rickey Lee Sebastian. Rickey was a fun loving, kind person who really loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Surviving are his mother and step father, Sandra Sebastian and Billy Lane of the home; his father and step mother, Rickey and Robin Sebastian of Hamptonville; a sister, Angie Sebastian of the home; a brother, Billy James Lane, Jr. also of the home; his fiancée, Alexus Hardy of Dobson; a special niece Dixie Ellen Sebastian and special friends Coty, Tadpole and Greg; his maternal grandparents, Jo Ann and Troy Buckner of Cana; his paternal grandparents, James Sebastian, Jr. and Pattie of Hamptonville and several aunts and uncles. Rickey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Haywood Sawyers and an Uncle Jerry Bullis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Richard Whitaker and Rev. Harlow Goins. Burial will follow in New Beginnings Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
