Mr. Ricky James Eaton, age 51, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his home. Mr. Eaton was born in Fort Knox, KY, on March 24, 1965 to the late Bobby Lee and Louise Faulkner Eaton. Ricky was loved by all who knew him, he will be dearly missed. He was well known for his talents for painting and crafts and made many lasting friendships at craft shows across the country. Mr. Eaton was employed with Lab Corp, Inc. of Greensboro. Surviving is his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Trisha Eaton; his sister, Kathy Bryant; his stepmother, Faye Eaton; his best friend, Melvin Mabe; nieces, Renata Bryant and Samantha Eaton; a great niece, Autum Martin; a great nephew, Samuel Martin; Aunts and Uncles, Helen Ayers, Lois Gammons, Sandy Bowman and husband Benny, Lynn and Bobby Poindexter, Jackie Faulkner and wife Debbie, Terry Faulkner and wife Rita; his favorite cousin, Lisa Gammons; and his special fur baby, Jynx. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tim Burton. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and immediately following the burial at the home of Helen Ayers at 151 Greystone Rd., Mt. Airy.
