Ricky Preston Hutson

Mr. Ricky Preston Hutson, age 66, of Stuart, Virginia passed away at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home on January 31, 2025. He was born in Fosyth County on July 19, 1958, to Donald Preston Hutson and Inez Pasley Cassell Hutson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Donald Ray Hutson; sister Shirley Etta Hall; and brother-in-law Ronald Hall. Ricky worked at Hanes Brand for over forty years. He cherished quality time with his many grandchildren and loved spending his days outdoors in nature fishing and hunting. 

 Left with wonderful memories of Ricky are his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Phyllis Ann DeHart Hutson of the home; three children, Kathy Arlene Hutson (Travis Barker), Joe Hutson (Angela Parrish), and Christopher Collin Marion (Melissa); seven grandchildren, Derek Sanderson (Tiffany), Tristan Sanderson, Nathaniel Sanderson (Niki), Connelly Reid Hutson, Samuel Lee Hutson, Penelope Rose Hutson, and Collin Elijah Marion; two sisters, Libby Payne (Jerry), and Lynn Gammons (Gilmer); and a sister-in-law Gerladine Hutson. 

 Phyllis would like to give a special thank you to her sister and brother-in-law Ella and Tommy Pack for all their love and support through this journey. She would also like to thank her co-workers for their love and support as well to the caring staff at Woltz Hospice Home. There will be no formal service for Mr. Hutson.
