Ricky Dean Linville

Mr. Ricky Dean Linville, 52, of Dobson, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home after an extended illness. He was born in Surry County, January 10, 1958, to the late Berry Odell and Hattie Montgomery Linville. Mr. Linville was a self-employed installer for R&L Hardwood Flooring and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Linda Hart Linville of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn Marie and Jesus Cuevas Reyes of Charlotte; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald Jeramiah and Jill Hodgins Druck of Boonville; six grandchildren, Mario Alberto Reyes, Ricardo Jesus Reyes, Amy Maydiline Parker, Christian Paul Parker, Angel Star Howard, and Landon James Hodgins Druck; two sisters, Juanita Stanley of Dobson and Reva Benson of Mocksville; a brother Mack Odell Edwards of Greensboro; and an ex daughter-in-law, Bridgett Manning of Jonesville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Linville was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Adriana Marie Reyes. There will be no formal services at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home; the 2nd floor nursing staff of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital, Juanita Castillo of NFTA for her fundraising, and the aids of Carolina Select for all their loving, compassionate care during this difficult time.
