Ms. Rita Ann Boles Martin, 70, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday morning, January 23, 2020, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Ms. Martin was born June 20, 1949, in Surry County, the younger of two children born to the late Tommy Coolidge and Dora Lucinda Owens Boles.  Rita worked as a supervisor at Cross Creek Apparel for many years and later retired as a phlebotomist from LabCorp.  She was a Christian and a faithful member of Highland Park Baptist Church.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mark Sprinkle of Kernersville; a son, Bro. Christopher L. Martin of Mount Airy; a grandson, Nathan Sprinkle of Kernersville; a brother and sister-in-law, Junior Tommy and Sandra Boles of Pilot Mountain; and a special niece and her husband, Wendy and Robby Black of Kernersville.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Martin was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Sprinkle.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Simmons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dr. Darrell Tate and Bro. Christopher L. Martin officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC  27017.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
