Ritchie Dean Marion

Mr. Ritchie Dean Marion, 61, of Pinnacle, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 6, 1960, in Forsyth County to Magaline Elsie Lynch Marion Hiatt and the late Warren Franklin Marion. Ritchie was a skilled carpenter and co-owner of Marion Brothers Subcontractors. He loved animals, nature, his family, and his friends. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Franklin Marion; and his sister, Rhonda Annette Marion Gordon. He is survived by his daughter, Misty Joyce; grandson, Tyler Joyce; son-in-law, Brian Joyce; the love of his life, Melissa Brannock; his mother, Magaline Hiatt; stepfather, Bobby Hiatt; and two brothers, David F. Marion, and Chris and Gayle Marion. Ritchie wished to be cremated and his ashes spread over the family farm. A celebration of Ritchie’s life will be held on the family property later.
